Extra Curricular Activities
Kids `R` Kids offers outside extra-curricular activities in the safe environment of our school.
These are additional cost programs which you can choose from to expand your child’s physical and mental activity.
- Soccer Shots- is a uniquely designed program that will introduce soccer to children ages 3-5 years old in a fun, safe, and controlled environment. Each week, the 30-40 minute soccer sessions will offer basic soccer skills, fun games, competitions, and prizes to your child. The program also emphasizes character-forming lessons such as fair team play, individual concentration and cooperation, and encouragement. Move & Grove Innovative Dance Program-enables children, ages 18 months to 5 years, to experience dance in a safe, fun and stimulating environment. Our educated faculty members are professional dancers with extensive backgrounds in teaching young children. Each teacher takes pride in sharing their knowledge and love of movement in a nurturing manner. The dance curriculum includes basic technique that increases gross motor skills, rhythm, creativity, strength, balance and agility. - Tumblebus- is a specialized gymnastics program developed for children ages 2 and up. The goal is to bring fitness to children for their proper physical and motor development. The Tumblebus is brought to your child`s school. A full-sized school bus has been refurbished into a safe, fun gymnasium in which the children have their classes. The program offers every area of a gym in mini-form. The bus is equipped with bars, beam, vault, trampoline, ropes, rings, climbing apparatus and more. www.tumblebustx.com
- Giggle Bytes - offers interactive computer classes to ages 2 and up. Classes are held once a week and are taught by experienced teachers who implement the exclusive GiggleBytes curriculum. It uses educational software to tech age appropriate skills & concepts such as colors, shapes, letter & number recognition, patterning, classification, logical & critical thinking, phonics, auditory & visual discrimination and more. www.wholechild.com
- Little Amigos- is Spanish class for young children. It is designed to make learning Spanish fun by learning through songs, games, and art projects. It encourages children to explore, play and have fun while they learn valuable skills and concepts.
